My avatar is an animated gif, but it does not move when I post, what am I doing wrong?

it`s possible the forum won`t allow animated avatars, I`ll look into that.... can you see it move when you open the pic on your computer, offline I mean....or is the problem only in the forum?

I've looked into it and you can use animated avatars without problems, so I checked yours and it seems to be in .jpg.....you might inadvertedly have changed the file extension while saving it to your computer....try saving it again from where you got it ( using save target as, and not image if possible ), or if you made it, to make sure the file extension is .gif....
